Do you know someone who is battling cancer – a neighbor, friend or loved one? Is your heart moved with compassion and a desire to help these people?
Christ Church Otsego is excited to announce Our Journey of Hope, a biblically-based cancer care ministry open to anyone who is ready to make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer. We want to bring practical support and the hope of Christ to every person in our congregation and community affected by this illness.
Ministry Training Topics will include:
- Why cancer care ministry is important
- What cancer is, and how it is treated
- The impact of cancer on spirit, mind and body
- What effective and compassionate ministry looks like
- Emotional, Spiritual and Physical needs of those dealing with cancer
