Care

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

Romans 12:9-13

    Baptism

Baptism is an expression of God’s love for us. It is an act of obedience to God that symbolizes the cleansing that takes place when our sins are forgiven. At Christ Church we practice infant baptism. It doesn’t matter whether you’re baptized as an infant, a teenager, or an adult, baptism is God’s gift to remind you of his unconditional love in Jesus Christ.

Families or individuals interested in holding a baptism should sign up to attend a one hour Baptism Class where together we will examine baptism and what it means for daily living. This class is intended to help baptism candidates, parents, and sponsors understand their commitments in baptism. Contact the church office to sign up for a class.
