Monthly Fellowship Event

There will be a variety of OASIS gathering events throughout the year.

An oasis is defined as something serving as a refuge, a relief, or pleasant change from what is usual, annoying, stressful, or difficult.. In Jesus we have a continual, abiding with us on the inside, oasis. It is the hope of our women’s ministry leadership team that our monthly gathering events will help you find rest and encouragement along with other Christian women who seek to live in the OASIS God desires for each of us. 

The dry desert will rejoice!  It will be glad and blossom, dancing with joy! See the Glory and the excellency or our Lord!  Isaiah 35 1-2

August Oasis

Hello CCO Women – we are going to celebrate a summer August day by cooking smores at night! Monday, August 24 from 7-9 PM, come join us as we gather around the firepit at Christ Church and enjoy some gooey smores, games and other treats. Food and fun supplied, just bring yourself and a friend and a chair! Festivities will be moved into the church lobby in case of rainy weather.

Come for the walk, the dinner, or both! It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with other women, enjoy meaningful conversation, and build friendships in a relaxed setting.

October Oasis

Pumpkin Patch Party
October 15th
6:30-8:30 PM

Ladies – instead of jumping into leaves, join us as we jump into pumpkin decorating and a team pumpkin carving competition (dress for a mess!). And, enjoy some of the season’s delicious treats! All you need to do is register by October 12 to let us know you will be coming on Thursday, October 15, at 6:30 PM in the CCO worship lobby. Hope to see you at this fun fall free-for-all!!

Ladies! For those who love to sew, or kick start that plan to sew, we’re having a Sew Day at Christ Church. Quilters and all crafters welcome. Bring your sewing machine, a project to start, work on, or finish in community with others and get inspired. We’ll be meeting at Christ Church in the Youth Room on Saturday, September 26, from 9 AM – 3 PM. Bring something to share for a potluck lunch and/or snacks. Hand sewers, knitters and crocheters are also welcome. Come for the day, or come for as much as you can. We can sew and sow seeds of blessings.

Bible Study

Did you know that God has both incommunicable attributes (characteristics that are only true of Him) and communicable attributes (attributes that we are called to reflect)? Join us for a Women’s Bible Study this summer on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 – 8:00 PM, July 21 – August 25 in the CCO Kid’s Zone to learn more. The Attributes of God study book will walk us through these attributes and encourage us on our faith journey. Click HERE to sign up and purchase your book for $12. Registration and book pick up deadline are July 12. Books will be available for pick up at the church starting June 7. The first lesson will be covered on July 21 so this will give attenders time to prepare. Each session of the study is a standalone unit so no worries if you are not able to make every Tuesday evening. Come when it works for you!
