Monthly Fellowship Event

There will be a variety of OASIS gathering events throughout the year.

An oasis is defined as something serving as a refuge, a relief, or pleasant change from what is usual, annoying, stressful, or difficult.. In Jesus we have a continual, abiding with us on the inside, oasis. It is the hope of our women’s ministry leadership team that our monthly gathering events will help you find rest and encouragement along with other Christian women who seek to live in the OASIS God desires for each of us. 

The dry desert will rejoice!  It will be glad and blossom, dancing with joy! See the Glory and the excellency or our Lord!  Isaiah 35 1-2

June Oasis

Come celebrate summer’s arrival at a Garden Party! Pack the kids, chairs, a snack to share and join us at the Porter home (14875 Raspberry Drive, Rogers) on Saturday, June 13, from 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM. Women’s Ministry will provide the drinks and games. Looking forward to celebrating the start of the long awaited MN summer with you!

July Oasis

Relax on the Farm, Eat Wood-fired Pizza, Chat wit Friends old & new

On Thursday, July 16 we will meet at CCO at 4:30 PM to carpool to Princeton, or meet us at the farm between 5:15/5:30 PM. Bring your kid(s), friend(s), chair and/or blanket, and beverages (or purchase there)…but no pets.

One more important step … Go to http://alphaomegafarm.com to pre-order your pizza crust for the July 16th date. Pizzas are about $24 and serve approximately two people. It is recommended you order your crust(s) two weeks in advance to be sure they don’t run out.

Women’s Ministry will provide paper products and garbage bags. Come on our and enjoy this unique MN Summertime experience with us!!!

Sew & Sow Saturday
May 30th at CCO
9 AM – 3 PM

For those who love to sew, or would like to kick-start a plan to sew. Quilters, sewers, knitters, crocheters and crafters are welcome. Bring your sewing machine, a project to work on and be in community with others. Bring something to share for a potluck lunch and/or snacks. We can sew together and sow seeds of blessings into each other. Let us know your coming.

Bible Study

Did you know that God has both incommunicable attributes (characteristics that are only true of Him) and communicable attributes (attributes that we are called to reflect)? Join us for a Women’s Bible Study this summer on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 – 8:00 PM, July 21 – August 25 in the CCO Kid’s Zone to learn more. The Attributes of God study book will walk us through these attributes and encourage us on our faith journey. Click HERE to sign up and purchase your book for $12. Registration and book pick up deadline are July 12. Books will be available for pick up at the church starting June 7. The first lesson will be covered on July 21 so this will give attenders time to prepare. Each session of the study is a standalone unit so no worries if you are not able to make every Tuesday evening. Come when it works for you!

Retreat
