Our Beliefs

Christ Church is a Bible believing church that stands on the timeless truth of God’s Word. Our roots are Lutheran, but our spirit is decidedly Evangelical. We are welcoming of the Holy Spirit and passionate about growing deeper in our relationship with Jesus. We are a diverse congregation with people that come from many faith backgrounds seeking the love of God and an authentic experience of Christian community.

We believe in the power of God to change people’s lives and change the world. Several passages of scripture have been especially significant in our faith journey as a congregation.

Statements of Faith

• We believe in the Triune God; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
• We believe that the scriptures of the Old and New Testament are the inspired Word of God and are the authority for all matters of faith and life
• We believe that salvation is only possible through a personal relationship of faith in Jesus Christ
• We confess our faith in the words of the Apostle’s Creed
• We celebrate the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion
• We welcome all people to join us to Worship, Connect and Serve
