Our Beliefs

Christ Church is a nondenominational Bible believing church that stands on the timeless truth of God’s Word. We are welcoming of the Holy Spirit and passionate about growing deeper in our relationship with Jesus. We are a diverse congregation with people that come from many faith backgrounds seeking the love of God and an authentic experience of Christian community.

We believe in the power of God to change people’s lives and change the world. Several passages of scripture have been especially significant in our faith journey as a congregation.

Statements of Faith

• We believe in the Triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
• We believe that the scriptures of the Old and New Testament are the inspired Word of God and are the final authority for all matters of faith and life.
• We believe that salvation is only possible through a personal relationship of faith in Jesus Christ.
• We believe that the Holy Spirit was given to empower us for Christian witness and we welcome the gifts and fruit of the Spirit as they build up the whole family of God.
• We acknowledge and uphold the Apostle’s Creed as a concise and accurate statement of faith common to Christian churches down through the centuries.
• We celebrate the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion.
• We believe that every follower of Jesus is called to be a minister of the gospel.
