Now is the time for our preschoolers to begin learning that God can help me be brave because the need to be brave—God-brave—will only grow throughout their lives.
What is God-brave?
God-brave is
. . . the kind of brave that does the right thing even when others don’t,
. . . the kind of brave that stands up to seemingly impossible circumstances,
. . . the kind of brave that trusts God during the darkest of times,
. . . the kind of brave that looks to God to help us be strong and courageous,
. . . the kind of brave that makes us SUPER KIDS—not because of what WE can do but because of what GOD can do.

Throughout history, God has been faithful to us. God kept the promise to send Jesus to save us. When we remember that God will continue to be dependable, we can choose to trust God no matter what we face in life. The Bible shows examples of people who knew first-hand what it meant to trust God in many circumstances. This month, we focus on three of them who happen to be part of the same family: Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Through their stories, we’ll discover how we can trust God no matter what we face.

EVENTS

CCO will be giving Preschoolers and 2nd Graders their very own Bible at the October 12th service. You, as parents, play the most important role in teaching your child about Jesus.  For this reason, you will present the Bible to your child during the presentation time at the church service that morning.

We pray that they will get into the habit of reading their Bible daily.  When they read their Bible, they will learn God’s word, how to live by it, and to listen for His voice in their lives.  Our goal in Kid’s Ministry is that by the time kids reach middle school, they will feel comfortable navigating through the Bible. This will give them a firm foundation on which to build their faith.
